Looks like the benefits of training in garbage bags have paid off for Todd "The Fallen Koala" Grose. A shock return to the representitive football scene for the 37 year old has tongues wagging. Word has it that close friend Aaron Beak called in a favour from Uncle Phil Ostwald. It is widely known that Beak used his family ties to save his own rep career, so don't be surprised if he is made Illawarra's captain despite a distinct lack of respect from his peers.

Apparently Grose was bordering on suicidal after several cruel jibes from teammates in regard to his portly frame and shimmering silver locks. In attempting to lift Grose's self esteem, Beak highlighted the fact that Thirroul coach Brett Jones physical condition was so poor that he has been unable to engage in sexual activity for the past 2 years. Cruel but fair.
