I agree and disagree.
i'm not a port fan, but it is a shame to only see two dots next to the two names of local players on the program guide. Good luck to you in importing players. Hell... everyone wants to win the competition, but the young blood you turn away for these "superstars" (who's best days are behind them... If they were still playing great football, they would be in higher places!!) Also, these "superstars" don't have a future here... They aren' going to play for your team for 8 or more years. They'll be around a few seasons, and then off. Mind you, Port Kembla aren't the only team doing it!
But, i want to see competitive games. And if Goodwin needs to bring his mates from far off places to give the fans competitive games... then so be it.
So, its Catch 22...
But, i'm sure the true Port fans would rather see Local's playing for their beloved blacks than foriegners... Or the Warrilla Reserve Grade Team.
