Date Posted: 21:38:52 05/18/03 Sun In reply to: concerned fan 's message, "Port thriving or dying" on 04:14:58 05/17/03 Sat Although a butcher through and through, i agree with mister Lyddiard that Port is actually going well, if you stopped bringing in talented players from other clubs, you guys would be back in the position you were before, not even feilding a first grade side. I think the work done by the club to come from a almost defunct club to one that, although not all locals, are setting up the club so that in afew years when these juniors are ready for the top grade, the platform has been set fro them and you will gradually be able to stop bringing so many "outsiders" to the club, who at the moment have the club in a position where they fill half the rep side and are a real threat to the title.
