Thirrouls big-name signing Matt Roodenrys has created a storm of controversy at the northern suburbs club through his continued absense at pre-season training. Sources reveal that Butchers officials are poised to terminate the inspirational locks' lucrative two-year deal if he fails to attend next Tuesdays session at Gibson Park.
Roodenrys' manager, known only as "Yummy", was finally tracked down at the SCG last night, where he was watching the 1st one-day cricket final with a business associate and his 6-year old son. "Yummy" was unable to comment on the actions of his client, describing them only as out of character.
