Depite several knockbacks, I have finally put pen to paper and signed a contract with the web of steel to do a weekly wrap of the thirroul butchers. My first column was aimed at inspiring several players to shed a few kg's in wake of the celebrations that followed the world challenge cup final win by the butchers. I will be informing supporters of any news from gibson park that may miss the faiding hearing of usual columnest Col Purcell. Latest news is that Jarrod "The Stalker" Costello was reportedly put on notice by new mentor Captain Air for his antics at work recently. While whipper snippering the lawns of a celebrity thirroul couple, air had to shoo jackson away from the bathroom window. Jackson is apparently outraged at the claims and has even threatened to walk out on air and has approached the thirroulk committee with a business plan of his own. Jackson claims that with the unspent cash, he could turn the the butchers home ground, Gibson Stadium, from its cow paddock like state to a wembley like astro turf pitch with his greenkeeping experience. " I feel wasted on the front lawns of the thirroul people" jackson stated. "i feel my skills as a tradesman need to be shown to the people".Also, i recently received a hot tip that Thirroul have gone and approached a former player to guide the club on how to spend its newfound millions.
"Although Trivett would become a franchise player for the club, i feel i could use these millions to get the club back from where i left it" Said a revamped Mark Nolan. Nolan took the club to its glory days with his antics at the now defunct Thirroul Leagues Club. "ill bye out The bEaches hotel from wests and the thirroul leagues club will be reborn" Nolan also stated that he refuses to rule out introducing a sauna to the sheds at gibson park. "brett Jones did his best work in that old sauna " " i actually had it put away when my baby was torn down."
