Subject: Colonel C.R. Earp reinterrement

Gentlemen and Your Ladies,

On February 16th, weather permitting, the remains of Colonel C.R. Earp will be exhumed from the cemetery his is currently interred in. This is in Gilmer, Texas. Details will be posted as they develope, for a map is being sent to me. The plan will be to meet at a location in Gilmer and embark from there. As I said, details will be posted. The Order of Confederate Gray will be Guard of Honor at this event, and will fire three vollies when the first evidence of the Colonel's remains are found.

On April 25th, Colonel Earp's remains will be transported from the funeral home in Gilmer to the restored log cabin just off the square, where he will lie in state until Saturday, April 26th, when the funeral will be held. The Order of Confederate Gray will be the Guard og Honor, along with members of various other organizations, from the time the Colonel's remains arrive until they are moved for burial.

Ours will be the last ceremony performed at graveside. Further details will be posted as they develope. Take care and God Bless you and yours!

YOS,

Preston Furlow
Commander
