Gentlemen and Your Ladies,

Saturday, October 15th is the date for the marker dedication in Mt. Vernon, Texas for 1st Lt. Mark Caudle of the Mt. Vernon Grays, Texas State Troops, CSA.

The event will take place at the Providence Primtive Baptist Church and Cemetery. It is located 1.5 miles south of I-30 on Texas road 37, then about 0.6 miles on county road SE 3070. The ceremony is slated to begin at 11:00 am, followed by what I understand to be a BBQ lunch that would satisfy the hungriest of Southern folk.

This will all take place in the midst of the Caudle family reunion, so there's going to be a passle of folks there. Any of you that plan to attend, please let me know as the coordinator of the reunion is needing a head count.
