Checked out a new area today. I had my lady along, and didn't really expect to find much because she sticks to the trails. I thought it would be a nice day for a hike anyway. I poked into a field where the trail got close to a farm and was rewarded with a 51" side of 5. Really gnarly base. It looked like it may have been there a week or two already and the mice had just started to nibble at it. I love this time of year!
