Jamee, I advise anyone buying a pup from me to always try and take their new pup to obedience training. The main benefit your dog will get is social interaction with other dogs in what should hopefully be a controlled environment. You can approach local dog-training clubs and explain your dog’s antisocial ness and they should have a class that can accommodate you. Pei's are generally a dominant breed and therefore when you keep them with other dogs, you need to establish the pack hierarchy with a human at the top of the chain. This I’ve found is very important if you are keeping more than 2 dogs. As dogs are pack animals, when they are in a group, dogs need to sort out a hierarchy and sometimes, with certain breeds, you need to help it along to maintain the peace so to speak. While I tend to agree with the others, that to breed a dog with bad temperament is not a good thing, my female Pei was a very gentle dog to start with, but has become alot more friendlier and not as standoffish towards people since having pups. Hope you can sort it out.... Peter
