I am writing this in the hope that someone might be able to give me some advice.

I have a beautiful silver sable male shar pei puppy. He is 14 weeks old and I have had him for five weeks. He is a plush horse coat and seems to be having some skin problems. When I first got him he had "pimples" on his legs and tummy which seemed to be caused by ingrown hairs. He still has a few of these but now he also has developed redness under his front legs which he scratches constantly. Also, when his eyes water the skin near his eyes (especially the wrinkles that the water runs into) smells like really dirty feet. The skin there looks a bit iritated too.

His body and coat do not smell bad at all but his face does. He is only eating boiled chicken and rice at the moment because he refuses to eat anything else so I doubt it is a food allergy. Does anyone know how I can stop this or what might be causing it? I don't like to see him in discomfort.
