I am not suprized to see this is an old thread !!! I recall bringing up a voluntary amylodosis registry, and discount eye and hip scoring schemes over the years to no interest.

I have eye certificates on all my breeding stock, and my males have a full semen analysis. As far as I am concerned having one pup in 30 ish require entropion surgery speaks for itself as to the obvious benefits of never using a Shar Pei that has had entropion.
