I'm doing okay. Yeah, it was tough, but I made it through. It gives me good source material for my writing if nothing else.

I don't live in my old home town. I moved on with the Navy right out of HS and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area afterwards.

As far as seeing my old nemesi (Plural for nemesis?), I saw them at my 10 yr HS reunion a couple years ago. I had to laugh because I made twice as much as any of them! Not that money means everything, but it sure helps keep score! >:)

Everything is relative, too. What I went through may seem horrible to you, but you may have gone through something that I would think is terrible. As a very good friend of mine says, "Pain is pain," and he had one of the worst childhoods imaginable.
