Although I appreciate what you are saying and the logic behind it, I can't really see that happening. Why? Because I enjoy putzing around with my web site. It offers a much needed break from my day job and writing. It's fun playing around with graphics, snooping the Net for new pieces of code, or doing some damn fool thing that brings the web site down entirely.

Even if I was relieved of the task of updating my site, it would not guarantee that I would write any faster. In fact, it would probably lead to a slowdown of output. I need the diversions in order to keep my writing going. Writing is not my job, nor do I want it to turn into one (at least not under the present circumstances). I write when I feel like it if the inspiration strikes. I know you posted this message in the hopes that it may increase the output, but the removal of web site duties will not have the intended outcome... for me at any rate.

Just my two scents (sense, cents, sents).
