I can assure you that I am not some drug-controlled zombie or monster. With the exception of the drugs used in mental hospitals, I can also assure you that you won't lose yourself to the effects of the meds.
If anxiety is also one of the issues you struggle with, then I know for a fact there are medications out there that can help you MANAGE your anxiety/depression and let you lead a happier, more fulfilled life.
I was depressed from 1978 until 2002. Twenty four years. I'm not saying I don't struggle occasionally, because I do, but my meds help me stay balanced and deal with my life instead of just letting life happen.
One question: If someone has high blood pressure and takes a pill to help control their illness, why won't people take an anti-d in an attempt to help control depression?
