Date Posted: 13:23:13 08/21/09 Fri Author Host/IP: proxyle02.ext.ti.com/192.91.75.30 In reply to: Texas A&M Mens Volleyball 's message, "Re: Nationals Commitments" on 14:59:28 08/19/09 Wed Maybe you need to find a different team to be on. This is absolutely ridiculous. I do not care who you are, but you need to change your attitude. I am so sick of the negativity and the crap-talking. Please do not continue to play for Texas A&M Men's Volleyball. So what if you are talented. Tearing down your teammates is going to hurt us a lot more than my apparent lack of ability to set a volleyball. Maybe you forget that I didn't know I was going to be a setter until last spring. Then, due to conditions that neither of us could control, I was put into the spot again. Maybe you would be a better setter than me if you were in my position. Maybe I am the worst setter in the club. But I was put into the spot and I did my best, and obviously that isn't good enough for you. I will be back and playing this year and if this is so much a problem for you, please do not bother coming to tryouts and playing. There are plenty of good USAV teams around that I can get you in contact with. I am not going to be a dick to you if you do play, because you would be my teammate, but if you're going to come in and play with that attitude, I would rather not have you play at all. We spend more time telling each other how everyone sucks at volleyball. I am challenging you to stop doing that. Texas A&M Men's Volleyball needs to be a club where the teammates care about each other. The guys from the successful team back in the day are still good friends. They had at least some sort of bond between them. We all act like we're chained together, and while that sounds awfully kinky, I would rather be friends than enemies with my teammates. Awaiting your unnecessary response on how I suck at volleyball and life, Jon [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
