ok this is NOT theme, but wanted to post something anyway.....I am sure there is something in my life worth laughing about now, after the fact but I can't seem to recall anything......

The Pain and The Witness

I feel weak sometimes
can't make it past the pain.
I have knots in my neck
and shoulders bear witness
to muscles tight and drawn.

I'm spiraling out of reality
for the day
immersed in free floating fantasy
covered in liquid gold
while layers of green
fall back to earth.

Later,
I make hot herbal tea
apple cinnamon
I can't find the one
you told me about
that I like.
I must have drank it all
as your words that held me
in one piece.
