mournfully i watch
the turbid sky and
the demise of the
sun, the moon becomes
dominate, and midnight
reigns;
oh, then comes my burden--
the damning ancestral
liquid burns my throat
as i swallow it from
the amphora, entirely
anathematized from
enlightenment.
euphemistically euphonious,
emoting mocking empathy,
the wind sings with the sound
of the freezing terrain.
death leering over my shoulder,
i lastly scribble in my
journal, "any man that dies
frozen shall remain frozen
while burning in the icy flames
of this freezing hell."
