In one of my choirs, we're singing some Shakespearean and other Renaissance texts. Some of the words are confusing. I'm also in charge of "member relations" for this choir, which means, among other things, that I update the blog. So I recently posted a big ol' entry explaining what these weird words meant in context.

Additionally, I've been recruited to write copy for this big huge summer event that this choir is putting on, and I've been put to work as an editor on every press release our conductor remembers to run by me.

My English nerdery and my music nerdery have met and are enjoying each other's company!
