I had heard and heard about Life of Pi. So I began to read it, then I got it on audio CD, so I listened to it, just when I was starting to get into it (about halfway through) I had to return the audio CD. So I never finished it. I was bored with the first half of the book. I definetly think it deserves another go-round though.

I find myself being so moody when it comes to books. I have to find the right book to match my mood at that period in time.

For example, right around June I find myself in the mood for a serious classic book like Anna Karenina.

Right now I'm going to read a book of essays on motherhood (something "BIRDIE" or "BIRDY" I'm too lazy to go get it and give you the correct title).

I've found essays to work well with my constant interruptions. I loved "Dress Your Children in Courderouy and Denim". Loved it. Laughed so hard.

I've also noticed with my decrease in reading that my spelling is suffering greatly.

I do read NEWSWEEK every single week from cover to cover. That was one of my Christmas gifts to myself, a subscription.
