Hi guys, we're just truckin' along here. Kids do grow fast! I was just feeling sad last night because Britt used to fit on my forearm and now he's just getting heavy. Much harder to "bounce" without the ball when he's not feeling good. (We sit on an excercise ball and bounce him, don't worry no head bouncing going on here.) Kiersten I'm so excited about your successful theisis! That is the coolest! What did you do it on? Wade's getting ready to apply to a doctoral program soon (well we're hoping anyway) and our options are pretty limited. We really need to be closer to a children's hospital and we miss our families dreadfully, so we're really hoping for the University of Utah. He's taken Arapaho for his language this last year and it's been fun to learn the different words and spelling with him. The other cool thing is that his teacher made britt some arapaho moc.'s. As for me I'm working in a dumb job that gets more frustrating all the time and staring at pictures of my little guy reminding myself that that's why I'm here. I just started reading Walking on Water by......the grand daughter or great grand daughter of hemmingway. She's a fantastic writer and a fisherwoman. Oh yeah and alcoholic. So it's not terribly happy, but she writes so fantastically that it's fun to read. I also read some of Wade's books. It's great to have someone in your family going to school--all the stimulation and only the tinest bit of stress. So not too much going on here. Thinking about writing about our recent experience, but so far I've only been able to play with the little guy, vent him, draw meds, do a few dishes once in a while some laundry on occaision and oh yeah talk to Wade. :) And I've been a "crafting" fool. I'm working on a pair of moc's, just finished a cross-stitch and started another one (went from totemic halibut to a lighthouse) and have plans for several quilt projects and some scarf painting. Anyway, that's it for me. Fun to hear how everyone is doing!
