Let's see--my week was plain. I slept and worked, and was very emotional. Hormones coursing through my body, and major "nesting" syndrome combined with exhaustion and no time to do things around the house = a grouchy girl, who weeps. ;-)
This weekend Joe's mom is visiting. Can I just say that the dishes are dirty, the floor needs desperately to be mopped, all our clothes are on the floor--and I feel torn between feeling like I should straighten up, & feeling too tired to even care. Luckily Joe's mom is kind and forgiving. Though, even though I feel secure in our relationship (I really do feel comfortable and close with his mom), I still worry (just a little) that she'll wonder what kind of a woman her son married, who can't even pick the clothes up off the floor. ;-) But I don't worry too much about that.
ANYWAY--I feel like I have absolutely nothing exciting to tell you guys, except that my baby is now about 4 lbs, and 17 inches long, and the words I would use to describe my butt, arms and thighs would be: pudgy, flabby, dimply, soft. Wonderfully gloriously motherly. ;-)
Please--tell me something exciting about your lives, adventures in New York, excitement in the legislature, the world of theatre and silly college co-eds, teaching catastrophes and triumphs. I feel like a boring person.
