Way to go, Kiersten! That's great.

About the debate last night, there were a lot of pot shots, but I think the worst was Kerry bringing up Dick Cheney's lesbian daughter. John Edwards did the same thing in the Vice Presidential debate, so it is obviously calculated and SO uncalled for. The Cheney's daughter is not a public part of the campaign, so why on earth do they think they have a right to bring up her sexual preference in a public debate?? If George Bush had been asked a question about abortion and responded by saying "Well, I know John Kerry's daughter has had at least one abortion and her parents support her and love her . . . blah, blah, blah" (hypothetical, of course) the Democrats would FREAK OUT. Some conservative pundits think Kerry/Edwards keep bringing up the Cheney's daughter to try to hurt Bush's base on Christian conservatives who maybe didn't know she was gay and might be offended by that fact. I think it's stupid, insensitive, and could backfire on the Democrats.

Anyway, that's my opinion.

I thought I was getting over mono last week and was finally able to do more . . . and then Saturday morning I woke up totally sick again and was in bed the whole weekend. I was so achy and weak I couldn't do anything. So I learned my lesson: I need to slow down again and be patient. Grrrrr.
