For the record I think smacking students could be a great educational tool. :)Actually mine are great this year compared to last year but there's always a few.

Things here are okay. We REALLY want to get out of the city but don't know if that will work. Dave flew down to D.C. and had 2 really great interviews that we thought were going to work, but then he didn't get an offer from either of the firms. We felt like it was a kiss-and-run. We were romanced, we got our hopes up, we planned for the future, and then...nothing. So he accepted at Shearman and Sterling, the firm he worked for this summer, presuambly in New York although they do have a DC office and we are tying that too. We've both been kind of depressed about it but I'm trying to pull myself out of it.

Other than that things are fine. I was on jury duty for a week and now that I'm back at work I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Just holding on till Thanksgiving.

Cheers!

Jess
