...it probably has something to do with the fact that I am TWELVE WEEKS PREGNANT!!! ;-) ;-)
I'm so bad at telling people. I don't know how to do it. I told my cousin by saying, "So you know how people have babies? We're having one!" and then our friends were over the other night, and when they came in the front door I was walking down the stairs and threw my arms up in the air and yelled, "WE'RE HAVING A BABY!" which must have seemed totally lunatic. But, hey, I just want to get it out...since we've been waiting for 3 months to tell people.
So, yes, I'm joining the ranks of a billion other women in Utah.
We knew before we moved. (It felt more unique in Davis, CA). Hence the reason our house is still in boxes, walls empty. I haven't been the most energetic person lately...some blues (not any more), and some pukiness. I guess that Elisa and I probably feel somewhat similar, only my suffering has more of a purpose to it (though, Elisa, you might be glad to not have that "purpose" as of yet...;-)).
And, yes, we were planning it. We just thought it would take longer. I had read that over 60% of couples aren't successful their first time, so we figured it would be a few months...so we were a little bit surprised.
Now that our parents know, and that I'm telling people, it is really exciting, and makes it seem more real. I already need to get some bigger clothes.
So--anyway, that's the news! SURPRISE!
