Subject: BYU football and other weekend stuff...

I'm from Boise, and I have a bro-in-law who played basketball for BSU, so I feel more connected to BSU in sports than anything else...but keep in mind that I don't really feel all that connected to sports in the first place. But for the BYU/BSU game, I was cheering for BYU.

It's just like BYU football to go and break your heart. Our good friend home teaches they guy who missed what could have been the winning kick against BSU on Friday. He said he'll never be able to talk about that game with that guy.

It looked like a fun game, the stands were packed. We saw our bishop on TV, he is the sports medicine guru for BYU. Our neighbors are basketball players (BYU) and our bishop rents the house to them. So we won't see them play until Basketball season. But, today Erin (Joe's little sister) and I went over the borrow some tin foil forlasagna. Mike Hall answered the door (he is the star of the team). Then about 10 minutes later (back at home) Joe said, "Where is Erin?" I didn't know, she was just there. So Joe went looking all over the house, outside, front yard, back yard, and we couldn't find Erin. 20 minutes later Erin walks thru the door with more tin foil. ;-) She said she wanted an excuse to visit with Mike Hall some more. ;-)

She is so cute, but so unlike most BYU girls. Friendly, but not flirty.

My new calling in Nursery is good, though I have the compulsion to wash my hands every 5 minutes.

How was your guys' weekend?
