Author: Sara [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:09:15 09/24/04 Fri My doc told me that it's common for women to ovulate quickly after the pill, cause I was having difficulty conceiving this pregnancy where as David was conceived 2 weeks after going off the pill! I was concerned about that and we thought about going onto Chlomed and other fertility drugs or even back on the pill and off again.Of course, it's always different for people. I know that a lot of docs reccommend not allowing pregnancy right away after going off the pill so that your body can readjust, as Emily said. I was on the mini-pill when I was nursing David and went off it and decided we would not get pregnant, use other means to stop it, etc. And then it took us 15 months when we finally did want to try. Of course, most importantly, it's in the Lord's hands. Ok....I have a favor to ask....And you don't have to if you don't want...etc....My mom was restaged for her cancer this week. She has been on a clinical trial drug, staying here with us for almost 3 months. We got her new test results yesterday and the cancer did not respond to the drug and has in actuality grown 20%. In the next 8 weeks the tumros on her liver may have joined and then her liver is lost. We are fighting to get her into the best treatment right now. Anyhow, We are having a family fast from Sat night to Sun night if any of you would be willing to partcipate. Her name is Gail. Thanks for your friendship and supprt...
