I vote to keep the current forum.

I dislike obnoxious images. I don't even like avatars. If you are curious about a poster, you can view a text profile. That tells you more than a cheesy animation.

Editing posts can be handy. A delete option is easier to implement. If you want to change a post, you can copy and paste your old post, delete it, and re-post.

I wish Dena wouldn't take it personally when people criticize the forum. As far as I know, everyone supports and likes Dena. I'm sure she would receive plenty of Thank You cards if that was practical.

After years of viewing forums, my attitude is that I expect to be flamed into cinders every time that I check a forum. Then I'm pleasantly surprised when no one has flamed me.

It's actually an excellent attitude. :) It prevents me from getting upset and emotional over occasional trolls, complaints, and bickering.

It's like the difference between a veteran seargant and a fresh private. The private goes into battle with fear and uncertainty. The private is shocked if anyone is shot. On the other hand, the seargant writes his blood type on his boot. He is mentally ready for the event that he gets wounded. In the heat of battle, the seargant knows when to retreat and disengage.

Forums can be like that.
