I once read an interesting essay about the concept of property. It was assigned to me for a philosophy class, but it was good. :)

I thought I'd post a link in case anyone is interested.
It's called On the Origin of Inequality by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. It was written in the 17th century. Part 2 is the only part worth reading.
