Maybe. But at the same time, TokyoPop is selling some shonen ai stuff, so it isn't like "weird" stuff doesn't sell. Although maybe a sports manga is too weird. Especially a sports manga based on an old board game ... ^^

Also, they did put a quick preview about Hikaru no Go in one of the earlier issues of Shonen Jump.
