Agreed. *_*
It's not the kind of show I would have thought I would like, but it turns out that doesn't matter.

I have the first four or so DVDs. I should watch them sometime.

Remember your reaction to me showing you the first episode of Fruits Basket? More or less, this is (probably) the same deal. You'll like it.

Wow. If you think the beginning was weak, then it must get MORE better! (*ducks*)
I actually thought the first few episodes were cool, but not anything _terribly_ special. Then again, Bebop picked up as it got going too; the first few episodes, before all the characters were introduced, were kind of iffy (if I'm remembering right--it HAS been close to 4 years).

It's a wildly successful ninja show. My understanding is that, in Japan, ninja shows are like westerns; they used to be popular, but now they're kind of passe.
I liked the first TV episode, and the manga (in Shounen Jump) is pretty cool.

Especially the soda machines at the start of episode 8. That was one of the funniest things I've seen in a good long while.

Oh, she did? Cool.
I saw the first episode, and was kind of "eh". But apparently they throw some kind of monkey wrench in the show after the first few episodes, so I'll check a few more of my fansubs out before I decide if the show's anything I'd want to watch.

I'd recommend Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar, if only because JAC likes to have a balanced schedule. I like it, in small doses, but it definitely can induce diabetic shock in the less cute tolerant.

I don't still go to UIUC, and I might wind up attending anyway.
