Ouch!

That is NEVER good. :( You usually don't get a lot of sleep at a con.

Sorry to hear that. :(

Yeah, I remember things like that happening when I went last year. It was pretty annoying, but on the other hand, I can see why they did it.

All in all you have to remember that ACEN subsists totally on volunteers to run the thing, like JAC does, except ACEN is MUCH MUCH MUCH larger than JAC with a LOT more events to coordinate. Having gone through running JAC for 2 years, I have a lot of respect for the people that arrange ACEN, even if they have fits of disorganization or whatever, 'cause I at least have an idea of how much effort must go into the con every year.

Yeah. I had been given the chance last year to work for the con, but in the end chose not to 'cause it does restrict what you can do, and heard that it's not a good idea for a first time ACEN goer.

And from experience, having a lot of friends to meet at the con and go around with at the con really improves the experience a LOT.

*nods* Yeah, so expensive. O.O;

*nodnod* Again, sorry to hear you had a not so great experience. :(
