Yeah I've heard mostly reviews from my friends and nothing at any major websites or whatnot. Also, apparently a lot of people haven't seen it which is a shame. I will probably watch it in about...a week which is the ACen AMV contest deadline. I look forward to it and do expect it to be quite depressing, but quite good.

Yeah, Tim/Fluxy is a good friend of mine and he told me that it's not accurate to the show and actually gives you a different interpretation of the show, which he did on purpose. The video is called "Endure" because he wanted to show how the characters "endure" such great hardships. I only asked since I didn't want to be spoiled. He assures me it doesn't contain any (or rather you wouldn't get it).
On a funny sidenote, his editing style for this video (the split-screens, etc.) was done on accident. He told me that the first edit he did had the kid and the gun and on accident had it split like that. He rendered and saw the potential of it and used it throughout. This video won "Best Drama" at the Viewer's Choice Awards on AMV.org. That pretty much equates it to the best Drama video this year and it's quite unfortunate that he won nothing at AWA Masters (although there is only one award). Look at his other works, in particular, "Souls of Rage and Sorrow," "The Victim was this Video" and "Eternal Damnation." I've learned quite a bit from Tim :).

Surprisingly, I agree with you. I don't know that many females who like AMG. It's obviously catered towards males with three female characters and this 'ideal' house-wife. At the same time, I do like the romantic elements in it and of course the comedic as well...oh and I'm also a guy :-P.

Surprisingly, I would have to agree on Excel Saga. Like I said, I can only take about one episode of it. As for CCS, well...like I said shows like this usually make me nauteous call me insensitive or insecure about my masculity or whtever, but the show just doesn't do anything for me. And yes I gave it a chance...watched like 40 episodes of it O_o.
As for Kodacha. I have seen about half and it's great. I agree on that. It's another show I can 'put up with.'

I haven't seen any of Fruit's Basket, but based on my friends who like it, the art and the story, it doesn't look like it'd appeal to me either (for the same CCS reason). We'll see I guess...

Yeah I've heard Maison is VERY good if you can get into it. It sucks it takes so long to get into, but at the same time, I heard it's very good once it does. Hell Kenshin doesn't get "good" until around episode 30 and it's one of my favorite shows. I of course enjoy consistency in quality, but I can't deny greatness when I see it (no matter how long it takes :-P).
