Title: My Eye's On You
Author: Dee
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Ethan stirs up an arousal in Theresa.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters from “Passions” Soap Opera.

********************************

Three weeks had already passed, and Theresa was starting to get a little bored. Whitney was off at the country club practicing, and Theresa didn’t feel like being around all those social snobs. She headed down to the Book Café to find a good book to pass the time away.

“Hi Theresa.” Chad said smiling at the lovely Latin girl as she entered.

“Hi Chad, and please call me Terri.”

“I haven’t seen you in here since you and Whitney came…” Chad stopped in mid-stream as he remembered Ethan’s words concerning the beautiful Theresa.

“It’s O.K. Chad. Whitney’s been busy lately, and I don’t usually like coming here alone. And speaking of Whitney, she tells me that you two have been talking on the phone. What’s that all about?”

“Whitney’s cool. I like her. But I’m sure she’s told you it’s not serious. She’s someone I like to talk to every now and then.”

“Yes she’s said that same thing. If you ask me, there’s a lot more going on than you two are telling me.”

Chad smiled at Theresa as she went to find a book and curl up on the huge comfy couch in the corner.

Not long after she arrived, Ethan came in.

“What’s up Chad.”

“Hey Ethan, what brings you by?”

“I just finished a case and it left me a little wired. I didn’t feel like going home so I thought I would find a good book.”

“Man that is too funny.”

“What?” Ethan said looking at Chad in confusion.

“It’s funny that you and the pretty Terri would come here almost at the same time to do the same thing.”

“Theresa’s here? Where?”

Chad pointed in the direction to where Theresa was curled up at.

“Hmm, she is so beautiful.” Ethan immediately became aroused as he looked at her in her cut off bluejean shorts and halter-top.

“Well are you going to just stand here gawking at her, or are you going to go over and speak to her?”

“I don’t know man. I’m the last person she wants to see.”

“I don’t think she’s the kind of person to hold a grudge.”

“Maybe you’re right Chad. Wish me luck.”

Ethan walked over to where she sat. He picked up a book and pretended to be interested, and then asked if he could join her.

Theresa looked up at him, rolled her eyes, and buried her head back into her book.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” He said smiling and having a seat.

“So what brings you to the book café this morning?”

Theresa looked at him, lifted up her book and winced at his comment.

“I guess that was kind of a stupid question.”

“Your words not mind.” She snapped.

“What’s your problem anyway?” He retaliated.

“My problem, I’m not the one asking dumb questions to obvious answers.”

“I was just trying to make conversation.”

“Oh, and me with my head in a book is just crying out, ‘please someone talk to me.’ I don’t think so.”

Theresa buried her head back in her book as Ethan stared down at her.

“What are you looking at?” She snapped.

“I was just looking at how beautiful you are. And your eyes, I have never seen anything like it. I’m just wondering what you are so afraid of.”

“I’m not afraid of anything.” She snapped.

“Well you look pretty afraid to me.”

“Oh Mr. Crane, you would be surprised at how NOT afraid I am.”

This really aroused Ethan now. He wanted to find out that she wasn’t afraid. He wanted to experience her not so innocent passion. He knew it was inside of her. And he really knew it was inside of him.

“Prove it then. Prove you’re not afraid. Come close to me.”

Theresa looked at him wondering what he had in mind. Something was drawing her to do so, and that damn seductive music Chad was playing wasn’t helping one bit. Theresa froze in her seat, but Ethan wasn’t going to let her off the hook that easy. He moved closer to her.

“Do I frighten you?” Ethan whispered as he moved closer.

Theresa gave a hard swallow and slightly shook her head. This was getting out of hand. Why was she letting him do this to her. She didn’t want those feelings awaken inside of her. But it was hard to deny those blue eyes of his.

Ethan was very close to her now. He lifted up his hand to her face and ran his fingers through her hair lifting it out of her face.

Theresa gave a low seductive sigh at his touch and closed her eyes as she slightly tilted her head backwards as he began to whisper in her ear.

Everything you are, everything you’ll be, touches the current of love so deep in me
Every sigh in the night, every tear that you cry seduces me.
And all that I am, and all that I’ll be, means nothing at all if you can’t be with me
Your most innocent kiss or your sweetest caress seduces me.
I don’t care about tomorrow I’ve given up on yesterday,
Here and now is all that matters, right here with you is where I’ll stay
Everything in this world, every voice in the night
Every little thing of you shining through in your eyes
And all that is you, it comes part of me too
‘Cause all you do seduces me.

As Ethan whispered these words so close in her ear, Theresa imagined him touching every part of her.

She imagined him taking his tongue and circling her earlobe. His hand slowly moving up her bare arm until it ran across her breast.

He moved from her ear to her neck leaving it moist with his kisses. He then placed one of his hands on her knee caressing is gently before moving it upward.

He took his lips and placed them on hers. His tongue parted her lips and found its way inside. She couldn’t fight this feeling anymore. She imagined kissing him passionately on the lips as his hand roamed between her thighs.

She gave out another sigh wanting him to continue.

“Oh Ethan.” She softly cried before her phone gave a piercing ring, startling her.

She snapped out of her fantasy and stared embarrassingly at him.

“Aren’t you going to get that?” He smirked.

Theresa picked up her phone and answered it out of breath.

“Hello?”

“Hi Terri, it’s me Whit. Have you been running?”

“No! What’s up Whit?”

Ethan sat there smiling at her. She looked back at him, and covered the phone.

“Do you mind? This is private.”

Ethan got up from the couch and walked to the front of the Café.

“Man, Ethan, what was going on back there?”

“Man she’s hot Chad! There is something burning inside of her and I think she can’t wait to let it out. She just hasn’t met the right guy to do it.”

“And I guess you are just the guy to light the fire.”

“Oh the fire is lit. Did you see her? She wants me, but I can’t lie, I want her too.”

Theresa stood up from the couch and headed to the front. She was about to leave until Ethan stopped her.

“Where are you going?”

“None of your business.” She responded.

“I thought we could finish what we started back there.”

“We didn’t start anything. And I wasn’t the least bit turned on Mr. Crane. I… I just wanted you to think I was. And I would think twice if I were you. Don’t try coming on to me like that again, or you’ll find yourself behind bars for sexual harassment.”

Theresa turned around and left without another word.

“Man Ethan, I think you should stay away from her.”

“Are you crazy Chad. She wants me. It’s written all over that beautiful face of hers.”

************************************

“Hey Terri, I’m glad you came over.”

“What’s up Whit. You sounded kind of down.”

“I’m O.K. it’s just that my parents left today on vacation, and I’m here alone since Simone’s not coming home this year. I was wondering if you could stay here with me for the rest of the summer.”

“Sure Whit. It would be great. Besides I’m practically bored out of my mind. These last three weeks since we’ve been home have been uneventful.”

“What about Ethan Crane?”

“What about him?” She said quickly.

“I noticed that he has his eye on you.”

“Whatever Whitney. I still think he is a spoil jerk.”

“How can you say that? What about the flowers he sent you? And the candy he sent last week? He is really trying to get your attention.”

“You’re right Whit. He’s not a spoil jerk, he’s a spoil rich jerk.”

“Terri, I don’t think you are giving him a chance.”

“Why should I. I don’t know him, and don’t care to know him. For all I care Ethan Crane can go to you know where.”

“Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald! Don’t say that. Ethan happens to be a very nice person. I know what you’re doing. You are taking what happen to you and Steven out on Ethan.”

“No I’m not Whit. And I don’t want to discuss this anymore.”

“Fine then!”

“Fine!” Theresa snapped back. “I’m going home to get my things. I should be back around six o’clock.”

“All right. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. Chad, the guy from the Book Café is coming over tonight. I promised I would cook dinner.”

“You’ve been seeing a lot of him lately.”

“He’s fun. He’s into music. He writes songs and everything. Maybe you could show him some of your work.”

“Maybe, what time is he coming over?”

“He said around seven. He said he might bring a friend.”

“Just as long as it’s not Ethan Crane.”

“I don’t know who it is. It’s probably not Ethan. Chad said it’s one of his closest friends.”

“Well I guess that leaves Ethan out. I don’t see him being friends with no one.”

“Theresa stop being so mean. Did something happen between you two?”

“No!” She lied.

“Well stop being so mean."

“O.K. I’m sorry. That was a cheap shot. I’ll be back later.”

“Bye.” Whitney said shaking her head at her friend.

**********************************

Later that day, Ethan was walking through the park when his phone rang.

“Hello, Ethan Crane.”

“Hey, Ethan, it’s me, Chad.”

“What’s up Chad?”

“I was wondering if you would go somewhere with me tonight.”

“Sure, where?”

“Well, I’m seeing this new girl…”

“Oh no! Hold it right there. You are not fixing me up with one of you girl’s weirdo friends. Who are you dating now?”

“Whitney Russell. And I understand if you don’t want to…”

“Wait a minute. Did you say Whitney Russell?”

“Yeah. I thought you would re-group when I said her name.”

“Will Theresa be there?”

“As a matter of fact she will. I promised Whitney that I would bring one of my friends to keep her company.”

“Does Theresa know I’ll be coming with you?”

“I don’t think so. I don’t think she would show up if she knew you would be there. No offense.”

“None taken. I know Theresa doesn’t like me very much, and I can’t figure out why. I’m charming, and nice. What more can a girl ask for.”

“Don’t forget modest.” Chad laughed.

“Don’t be funny Chad.”

“Sorry man. So you’ll come?”

“Sure. Just tell me what time and where to meet you, and I’m there.”

*********************************

While Theresa was walking home, she was kind of daydreaming and walked right into Ethan.

“Watch where you’re going.” She shouted.

“You bumped into me.” He retaliated back.

They both looked at one another, and Theresa gave a grumpy sigh.

“I should have known it was you. You seem like the air head type.”

“You bumped into me!” Ethan repeated.

“Whatever, I don’t have time to stand here and argue about symmetric. Next time you should just say excuse me.”

“But you bumped into…”

“I know! I bumped into you. Well maybe you shouldn’t have been in my way.”

“What is your problem?” Ethan said, now frowning.

“My problem? If you saw me coming straight for you, you should have moved out of the way.”

“I can’t believe this. Do you always have to be so rude?”

Theresa looked at Ethan and didn’t say a word. He searched her and caught her gaze.

“What are you looking at?” She said jumping out of a dazy kind of stare.

“Your eyes. They are very beautiful.”

Theresa took her eyes away from his. And then looked back up to speak.

“Oh you think so huh? First you insult me and say that I am cold and rude. And then you tried to seduce me. Now you tell me I have beautiful eyes. What’s that all about? Hmm! Never mine, I don’t want to know. I have to go.”

“Wait a minute Theresa!” Ethan called after her. But she shooed him with her hand and hurried on her way.

Ethan stood there watching her as she walked from him. Something was drawing him to be with her. But she wasn’t giving him the chance. He didn’t know what her problem was, but was determine to find out.
