He gives a wry grin at the thought.
"I always like starting little bonfires at night in the winter. It's always so cold and it's fun to sit next to the warmth and just watch the flames go up towards the sky."
He leans back against the house, his hands moving to behind his head. His gaze is turned back to the younger one.
"Ever try it, just sitting around an open fire during the night? It's pretty peaceful, especially if you do one alone. There's no talking or noise, just the earth's sounds and you."
He closes his eyes a moment, like he could almost remember one of the bonfire nights where he had put a couple sticks on the ground and sat around them, watching them burning and just being relaxed. His eyes open and they glance towards the boy, a small grin on his face.

He smiles sightly and shacks his head.
"No," he replies in his smooth, low voice, "I've seen small camp fires, but never a bonfire. Is it truely as nice as you say?"
Kiriranshelo looks up and then at the ground, thinking as he so often did as he waited for the reply.

He leans back, nodding.
"Yup, we'll have to try it together some time," he offers. Even though he had gotten the child to start talking to him, he felt that if he said something wrong, Kiriranshelo would just shut the world out again.
"So...have any idea what you might want to apprentice to when your an adult?" he asks, changing the topic.
He wasn't sure if the other male even thought about a job at that age. Takano knew he hadn't even thought of a job until just recently. And when he was a child, jobs and working were the last thing on his mind. Even after his parents had died...

Kiriranshelo thinks and shruggs a bit. He remembers what he was orn to be in his own clan, born to do it and proud of it, but that prove little use here.
"Well," he begins, "I dought I'll grow to have any job worth wild, but it would be cool to learn to be a Sorcer, Shaman, or Charmer."
He smiles a bit, and then looks at Takano.
"You know a little of me," he says quietly, "but I almost nothing of you, and it is said, I was tod, that to know about a person and then know nothing of you, can lead to danger." He thinks a bit and then shruggs. "But, it's okay. I guess. I just find it a bit funny."

He nods in agreement.
"Yeah it would be. I'd like working all that magic. When I was your age, I never really thought about jobs anyway. I just liked playing and jokes and all that stuff. But look at me now, I'm 16 and I just started being an apprentice Caller."
He gives a wolfish grin, his head tilted to the side in an answer to the younger male's second response.
"We wouldn't want to put you in danger then, would we? You already know my name and my small job standing, there's not much more to tell. My parents are both dead. My mom was killed by an animal when she was out one day and when I was around 13 my dad died of some sickness. And then since I was looked at as an adult, I didn't really get anyone else to take care of me."
He shrugs, as if waving the thought away. It wasn't as if he had been totally helpless, though becoming an orphan at 13 had been rather hard. At least his house had helped him out a bit. He didn't know what he'd do without some of the clan's people.
"But the people in this clan are generous and I helped out as much as I could. In return, others helped me out."
His eyes avert up to the sky in a thoughtful expression, trying to think of something else he could say about himself. His thoughts were flooded with nothing though, so he turns back to his friend.
"That's basically it."

He nods in understandment. He found it abit strange that he had a few thins in common with the older male, but somehow, it made it easier to talk to him.
"So, one day you'll be a full fleg Caller?" Kiriranshelo questions with interest. "Is it easy or heard? What do you do?"
He suddenly turns abit red on his nose and lower upper-muzzle as he relizes all the quetions he had begun to ask. It had been a long time since he had asked so much, but he couldn't help but know.

He chuckles sheepishly at the questions, though glad the younger one had caught an interest in something.
"I hope I'll be a Caller, I'm just an apprentice now."
He shrugs.
"A female named Icy Sparks is training me, and yeah, it's kind of hard. I mean one day I just realized that I didn't have much of a role with the clan so I figured I had to hurry up and get a job."
A wry grins spreads over his lips.
"Even I want a little respect sometimes."
He changes his sitting position before going on, thinking of what to say.
"But I think it's just harder for me because it's a spur of the moment thing and i've just begun to practice. A Caller's main purpose is to be able to immitate an animal's Call," he says, though that seemed pretty obvious. But it was sort of hard to explain something that he had only done for a short peroid of time. "Like if there's danger, a Caller can Call to one of the clan members as a signal that danger's come."
He scratches the back of his head, grinning a bit sheepishly. Scarlet flushes on his cheeks, the male being emberassed that he knew so little.
"Sorry, I don't really know much about it. You'd have to ask someone that's done it before."

Kirianshelo laughs as Takano tries to explain it, but can't.
"It's okay," he says with a smile. "You can explain it when you know more about it."
He stops and looks up at the sky, making the place of the sun and moon, relizing that they had been talking for quit a while. He smiles to himself as he thinks this. Never in his life dd he think suh a thing could happen, and yet, it did.
"I'm guessing," he goes on, "that the job's a little hard, huh?"

He nods slowly, his green colored eyes shifting to look at the star filled sky. If you looked the right way, you could almost make out pictures. When he was younger, he remembered amusing himself with games such as that, finding shapes in an endless sky of bright dots.
"Yeah it is. But I guess it'll be worth it when I actually get the full title. I don't really care about reputations and job statuses and all that stuff. I like this clan though, and I guess I just hurried into a job because I thought they'd kick me out for being so...useless."
Never before had he admited something such as that, that he was afraid of being forced to leave his homeland. Though he doubted the shamans would be so cruel, but still... He glancse over at the younger lad. Strangely enough, he found it easier to talk to a child then an adult. Children were sometimes clueless of the world, though Kirianshelo weren't. The younger male had been through hardships, like Takano had with the Dark Blizzard. Maybe that was what budded their friendship...

He smiles at Takano, shacking his head a bit.
"They wouldn't have kick you out," he says clamly. "I'm sure of it. After all, you're too cool." He grins, laughing a bit. "But I guess I could understand what you mean. It's like, many think if you can't do anything then you can't be here but it's rght true... Right? After all, people are good more more thigs then just work. Like knowlage and joy."
He looks up at the sky and then the moon, smiling as he finds he "shadow bunny" that hid on the moon.
"Ever worndered why there are so many stars...?"

He just nods slowly, thinking of what Kiriranshelo had said. True, they couldn't have kicked him out just because he didn't have a job. He could be usefull in more ways then jobs anyway. His attention is averted from thought to the sky as the young male asks about the stars.
"I've wondered, but I've always figured it was because Luna wanted us to find our way at night. Or maybe it was just because she felt like putting them in the sky."
He shrugs sheepishly.
"Do you know why?"

Kirianshelo shruggs a bit, pushing himself up more as he does so, having been sliding more and more into a small "fur-ball" as the dayhad gtten lnger and night began to come.
"Well," he says, blinking twice as he looks at them. "As of now, I'm not sure ifI hae an opion, but I remember long ago, my mother saying that the stars hide the secreats of each and everyones' future. That they knows things will never will and guide us through life. She also told me, that my father and she were able to read and hear that stars, and that when I was older... I would be able to also. But, that wouldn't be so anymore since I was never traine to do so, and it could only be truely done in my homeland."
He sighs, thinking that maybe that was why his village was destroied. Maybe they wanted the power to see into the future, but what was the future but the end...death. Soemthing no one needed to see before it happened. It would always happen. After all, the "end" and "future" were one. He shacks his head.
"Kinda silly, huh?" Kiriranshelo says quietly with a weak smile.
