She walked back in carrying Ransom, she knew he must be tired from the ceremony. Though he was 4 now, she could still carry him just as easily and she rocked him gentley as she carried him back to the bedroom where she changed him out of his snow-covered clothes and into some dry warm clothes. She got some out for Cordiella when Romulous arrived with her. She laid him in the one extra bed in the house, not sure if he was really sleepy or not but if he wasn't, that was fine too. She herself changed into dry clothing and she walked back into the main room and bent beside the hearth adding wood to the dying embers of the fire. She added more wood until a steady flame grew and she made a cup of spiced tea which was made to warm both the body and spirit. She drank it slowly and sat down beside the hearth, waiting for Romulous and Cordiella to arrive.
