She smiles slightly but makes no move to kiss him back. "I'm fine," she says softly. She returns her gaze to the two children, loving both of them, yet still resenting them as well. They were a symbol, a symbol that she was old, that the rest of her life would be spent living through them.

She looks at him, looking at careful details of his face as he spoke, how his expression changed slightly with every word. "Ohh.." was all she said. She could really care less about Remus, it was best he stayed away from her and if Romulous made peace it would bring him closer to them, it was best if Romulous grew indifferent. She looked at her mate, she was tired of chasing after him, of trying to constantly please him, when she felt he could not return the love she gave.

She nods, remaining silent, slightly irritated at his command. She went over to the children and dressed them appropriately for the cool weather. She bundled them in a light over frock, and assuming Romulous was not going, she led them outside to the ceremony, carrying Cordiella and taking Ransom by the hand.
