Kiriranshelo's eyes widen as he hears the sound of foot steps in the house and then outside, comeing where he sat. Once the one making the sounds, Takano, is near him, Kiriranshelo looks up. Eyes filled with terra, Kiriranshelo tries to scatter back, but is unable to, due to the fact that his back was already against the house. He swallows, chocking back tears of fear, but lesson to one he knew not speack. Kiriranshelo stops, looking around but his eyes quickly go back to the unknown one.
"Kiriranshelo," he is finally able to say, but his voice is nothing more than a whisper.

The teenager's non-existant eyebrows raise a bit. He had never met someone so young that seemed so shy. All the other children of the clan seemed so open. It was nice to have a mix of personalities in the clan though.
He bends down to sit next to the other male, also half wondering why Kiriranshelo seemed scared of him.
"Do you like it here so far? With the other children?" he asks curiously, trying to get his peer to open up a bit. His grin changes to a thoughtful smile, but he still tries to keep a friendly aura around him.

He watches the older one sit near him, and moves a bit away. He lissens to what he is asked carefully, as if restateing each wod in his mind. Kiriranshelo then looks down at the ground, his shouder length hair, falls to make shadows cover his eyes totally and his face partly. He then shacks hs head as he wraps his tail around him.
"No to both," he says, his voice still small.

The male nods, thinking carefully of what he was going to say next. He was half afraid he'd end up scaring the child off, and he usually liked children so he didn't want this one to leave.
"Oh, I guess you liked the place where you used to live, huh?"
His eyes brighten up a bit, as if he had an idea. Maybe that was it, maybe Kirisheno missed his old home and still hadn't gotten used to the clan.

Kiriranshelo looks at Takano, worndering about him. No one had ever sat so close to him, besides Reve, of course. He picks up his head and looks at the older one, his head cocked a bit. Sadly, as soon as Takano speacks of where he used to live, Kiriranshelo's eyes seem to shake in fear.
"I don't know..." Kiriranshelo replies. He slowly started to talk more words and picked up his voice, but only a bit. However, he still keeps huddled aginst himself. "My true home is gone... I never had on after that one. We weren't welcomed." As Kiriranshelo talks, his voice shacks a bit and he shutters, as if remembering something fearful and cruel.

He nods silently. That seemed to explain alot to him. Maybe Kiriransheno thought that he wouldn't be welcomed here, or that he'd get shown cruelty. From the look on the younger one's face, the older male can tell that the topic brought back hard memories from the young one's past. Takano decided not to press the subject then. He leans inward towards the other male, grinning.
"Well unless your planning on destroying the clan or killing everyone here, you'll definetly get a warm welcome. Plus you joined the best house. Romulus and Sable are really nice, I bet you'll like them."
His grin suddenly turns sly and a mischievious gleam comes to his eyes.
"But don't worry, pranks are still allowed too. It just can't be anything too bad. But the worst you'll get is usually a yelling."
And the yelling could usually be humerous too, to Takano anyway. He never understood why the prankees never liked his pranks. Oh well, not like they could take a joke anyway.

Kiriranshelo suddenly gives a weak, but true smile as his eyes brighten a bit, and he gives a small laugh due to the way Takano speacks.
"Really?" He questions, his voice still low, but slowly, it began to come to life. He looks to the side next. "I meet them both," he tells. "Not long, but I did. Oh...and don't worry, I'd never ty to take over anyplace or kill anyone... I've seen death before, and I don't like it."
Kiriranshelo sighs, the words "destroying" and "kill" stay his thoughts for a morment, but he then sakes his head and looks a Takano, giving another slight smile.

Takano's eyes widen again, just ever so slightly this time though. And it was more out of shear surprise then it was from being impressed.
"You've seen death already?" He says, trying to hide his astonishment.
Even he'd never seen an actual killing before. Though if he had, especially at this male's age, he'd probably be scarred for life.
"Well if people in your old clan were getting killed, then it's a good thing you left," he says with a nod. "They couldn't have been all that great anyway, right?"

The young boy shakes his head in a reply, then, with a sigh, he goes on to words.
"No," Kiriranshelo starts, "from what I can remember, it was a peace loving clan...the dath was brought upon them...they were murder. Not by the ones who lived there, but others...outsiders. I-I...the clan wasn't bad! I don' know why they killed so many...they never did anything wrong. At least, from what I knew they didn't. I was only two, but...I remember. Reve know more. She was ten..." Kiriranshelo looks down, tears streaming down his face as he remebers the death of many, the buring of houses, huts, and...people along with his mother and father. "They weren't bad people, they just had what others wanted... Why must people be so crule?"

His mouth gapes open and his eyes just stare blankly. He could hardly believe what the child was saying. He couldn't imagine people just coming and murdering everyone in a clan. When he comes to his senses, his mouth closes and his head turns to gaze at the clan's surroundings; at the trees and the houses and the rivers and the life all around. His imagination couldn't wonder what it would be like to have it all burning before his eyes.
"Wow, you have been through alot. I guess I can see where your coming from. I've lived here all my life. If people came and just destroyed everything."
He pauses to shake his head sadly.
"I don't know what I'd do," he says quietly. Destroying his home and friends would be like destroying everything that mean something to him.
"But I guess when life is cruel to some people, the only thing those people know how to do is be cruel to others. They take their cruelty out on the innocent, some now knowing better, some not caring."

Kiriranshelo nods a bit and then sighs as she looks up at the trees and sky.
"I forgive them though. You can't hate forever. It brakes the soul and kills it before you, yourself dies. Tha was something my old clan lived by; 'Forgive all, but don't forget'," Kiriranselo replies. He wasn't surewhy he walsk telling the older male this. Maybe he jut really needed to talk about it. Or maybe it was something else? Whatever the reason, Kiriranshelo didn't mind it too much. He scaredhim to remember, but didn't hurt as much with someone else there. "You know, I hate to say this, and don't get me wrong, but a buring winter night is a beautiul sight, however, buring homes and...people make the sceane go from beauty to hell."

He gives a wry grin at the thought.
"I always like starting little bonfires at night in the winter. It's always so cold and it's fun to sit next to the warmth and just watch the flames go up towards the sky."
He leans back against the house, his hands moving to behind his head. His gaze is turned back to the younger one.
"Ever try it, just sitting around an open fire during the night? It's pretty peaceful, especially if you do one alone. There's no talking or noise, just the earth's sounds and you."
He closes his eyes a moment, like he could almost remember one of the bonfire nights where he had put a couple sticks on the ground and sat around them, watching them burning and just being relaxed. His eyes open and they glance towards the boy, a small grin on his face.

"No," he replies in his smooth, low voice, "I've seen small camp fires, but never a bonfire. Is it truely as nice as you say?"
Kiriranshelo looks up and then at the ground, thinking as he so often did as he waited for the reply.

He leans back, nodding.
"Yup, we'll have to try it together some time," he offers. Even though he had gotten the child to start talking to him, he felt that if he said something wrong, Kiriranshelo would just shut the world out again.
"So...have any idea what you might want to apprentice to when your an adult?" he asks, changing the topic.
He wasn't sure if the other male even thought about a job at that age. Takano knew he hadn't even thought of a job until just recently. And when he was a child, jobs and working were the last thing on his mind. Even after his parents had died...

Kiriranshelo thinks and shruggs a bit. He remembers what he was orn to be in his own clan, born to do it and proud of it, but that prove little use here.
"Well," he begins, "I dought I'll grow to have any job worth wild, but it would be cool to learn to be a Sorcer, Shaman, or Charmer."
He smiles a bit, and then looks at Takano.
"You know a little of me," he says quietly, "but I almost nothing of you, and it is said, I was tod, that to know about a person and then know nothing of you, can lead to danger." He thinks a bit and then shruggs. "But, it's okay. I guess. I just find it a bit funny."

He nods in agreement.
"Yeah it would be. I'd like working all that magic. When I was your age, I never really thought about jobs anyway. I just liked playing and jokes and all that stuff. But look at me now, I'm 16 and I just started being an apprentice Caller."
He gives a wolfish grin, his head tilted to the side in an answer to the younger male's second response.
"We wouldn't want to put you in danger then, would we? You already know my name and my small job standing, there's not much more to tell. My parents are both dead. My mom was killed by an animal when she was out one day and when I was around 13 my dad died of some sickness. And then since I was looked at as an adult, I didn't really get anyone else to take care of me."
He shrugs, as if waving the thought away. It wasn't as if he had been totally helpless, though becoming an orphan at 13 had been rather hard. At least his house had helped him out a bit. He didn't know what he'd do without some of the clan's people.
"But the people in this clan are generous and I helped out as much as I could. In return, others helped me out."
His eyes avert up to the sky in a thoughtful expression, trying to think of something else he could say about himself. His thoughts were flooded with nothing though, so he turns back to his friend.
"That's basically it."

He nods in understandment. He found it abit strange that he had a few thins in common with the older male, but somehow, it made it easier to talk to him.
"So, one day you'll be a full fleg Caller?" Kiriranshelo questions with interest. "Is it easy or heard? What do you do?"
He suddenly turns abit red on his nose and lower upper-muzzle as he relizes all the quetions he had begun to ask. It had been a long time since he had asked so much, but he couldn't help but know.

He chuckles sheepishly at the questions, though glad the younger one had caught an interest in something.
"I hope I'll be a Caller, I'm just an apprentice now."
He shrugs.
"A female named Icy Sparks is training me, and yeah, it's kind of hard. I mean one day I just realized that I didn't have much of a role with the clan so I figured I had to hurry up and get a job."
A wry grins spreads over his lips.
"Even I want a little respect sometimes."
He changes his sitting position before going on, thinking of what to say.
"But I think it's just harder for me because it's a spur of the moment thing and i've just begun to practice. A Caller's main purpose is to be able to immitate an animal's Call," he says, though that seemed pretty obvious. But it was sort of hard to explain something that he had only done for a short peroid of time. "Like if there's danger, a Caller can Call to one of the clan members as a signal that danger's come."
He scratches the back of his head, grinning a bit sheepishly. Scarlet flushes on his cheeks, the male being emberassed that he knew so little.
"Sorry, I don't really know much about it. You'd have to ask someone that's done it before."

Kirianshelo laughs as Takano tries to explain it, but can't.
"It's okay," he says with a smile. "You can explain it when you know more about it."
He stops and looks up at the sky, making the place of the sun and moon, relizing that they had been talking for quit a while. He smiles to himself as he thinks this. Never in his life dd he think suh a thing could happen, and yet, it did.
"I'm guessing," he goes on, "that the job's a little hard, huh?"

He nods slowly, his green colored eyes shifting to look at the star filled sky. If you looked the right way, you could almost make out pictures. When he was younger, he remembered amusing himself with games such as that, finding shapes in an endless sky of bright dots.
"Yeah it is. But I guess it'll be worth it when I actually get the full title. I don't really care about reputations and job statuses and all that stuff. I like this clan though, and I guess I just hurried into a job because I thought they'd kick me out for being so...useless."
Never before had he admited something such as that, that he was afraid of being forced to leave his homeland. Though he doubted the shamans would be so cruel, but still... He glancse over at the younger lad. Strangely enough, he found it easier to talk to a child then an adult. Children were sometimes clueless of the world, though Kirianshelo weren't. The younger male had been through hardships, like Takano had with the Dark Blizzard. Maybe that was what budded their friendship...

He smiles at Takano, shacking his head a bit.
"They wouldn't have kick you out," he says clamly. "I'm sure of it. After all, you're too cool." He grins, laughing a bit. "But I guess I could understand what you mean. It's like, many think if you can't do anything then you can't be here but it's rght true... Right? After all, people are good more more thigs then just work. Like knowlage and joy."
He looks up at the sky and then the moon, smiling as he finds he "shadow bunny" that hid on the moon.
"Ever worndered why there are so many stars...?"

He just nods slowly, thinking of what Kiriranshelo had said. True, they couldn't have kicked him out just because he didn't have a job. He could be usefull in more ways then jobs anyway. His attention is averted from thought to the sky as the young male asks about the stars.
"I've wondered, but I've always figured it was because Luna wanted us to find our way at night. Or maybe it was just because she felt like putting them in the sky."
He shrugs sheepishly.
"Do you know why?"

Kirianshelo shruggs a bit, pushing himself up more as he does so, having been sliding more and more into a small "fur-ball" as the dayhad gtten lnger and night began to come.
"Well," he says, blinking twice as he looks at them. "As of now, I'm not sure ifI hae an opion, but I remember long ago, my mother saying that the stars hide the secreats of each and everyones' future. That they knows things will never will and guide us through life. She also told me, that my father and she were able to read and hear that stars, and that when I was older... I would be able to also. But, that wouldn't be so anymore since I was never traine to do so, and it could only be truely done in my homeland."
He sighs, thinking that maybe that was why his village was destroied. Maybe they wanted the power to see into the future, but what was the future but the end...death. Soemthing no one needed to see before it happened. It would always happen. After all, the "end" and "future" were one. He shacks his head.
"Kinda silly, huh?" Kiriranshelo says quietly with a weak smile.
