Delegation is authorised one of the leader's subordinate to work.

It should be authorised one of the competence people if possible. However, manager not very like to delegate his subordinate since he afraid this can't work well, may be the subordinate have no confidence since he is afraid of making mistake.

However,if you are the manager, and you have a lots of work to do, you may be need to delegate some work to your subordinate, in this time, you should protect and support your subordinate staff and accept, personally any reprimand for unsatisfactory performance.

Also, this is a good chance to provide development for your subordinate for their commitment,inducement and motivate.

Sometimes when it is emergency and you can do the work you may need to delegate your subordinate to do the work for you.In this time,you should keep authority, responibility and accountability in parity thoughout in the organization. To choice the most trusty and competent people you think. to make the delegation more efficiency.
This five factor should consider:
1,Clarificarion of objectives
2.agreement on term of reference, and acceptance of authority and responibility
3.guidence, support and training
4.Monitoring and review procedure
5 Freedom of action

To achieve these five stage, the manager should explain clearly the goal that should be achieve, to give guidence and training to your subordinance as possible, after the work is done, to check out the error, if there is some error occur, to tell your subordinate"This is not your fault,its our fault, I think we should find the way to prevent this occur again".

To avoid to delegate your subordinate to do a risky and important job as possible.

Reward the subordinate when successful.e.g. celebrate dinner
