The energy signatures registering on Bro'Grim's sensor net were starting to fade. Heart rates slowing, breathing becomming heavier, and brainwaves racing. Basically he watched as everyone started to go to sleep. The treeline had distorted his senses with the local fauna and the forrest bounced back little more than more trees. In order for him to get a full map of the terrain, he'd have to take to the air. Not knowing the forces that be on this world, his AI Protocols told him that it would be pointless to endanger the civilians located in this area. The cyborg's electric green eyes flashed and faded into a reddish hue as they adjusted to the night's enveloping darkness. He walked towards the clearing where he had first came across the group in it's entirity. Simon's dried blood was caked on the rock where the operation took place, a circular scorch mark was burned into the ground where the mecha-dragon had landed opposite the two groups, and a circular hole was burned into theb ase of one of the trees. The hole, when analysed showed trace elements of a chmical gas and crystal used in hand held lasers. The battletactical AI reported that this type of laser would normally bounce off of his reflective armor, but enough hits would eventually turn the ferrosteel into hot slag.

Believing that it was far enough away from the cabin, the cyborg's wings snapped open and extended. The whine of the jumppack's jets powering up was soon followed by a burst of blue fire. Brogrim burned into the night sky on a column of fire, the moonlight glinting off his metalic body. From a distance he must have looked like a falling star rising back into the heavens. As he rose, he spun into the air taking a reading of the area within his view. The flame that trailed behind and below had left a twisted column of vapor, decorating the sky with an artificial cloud. In a fourth revolution of his spin, it stopped facing what the internal compass read as West. There were power signatures of generators, batteries, and other devices. Feathering his jets, he made a slow descent to the ground, almost hovering in place as he continued to scan the terrain.
