 With Dregnoks wing damaged, he slipped away into the rest of the forest behind the small cottage.

"Sorry guys, I cant do much if one of my wings are in pain."

Then it occured to him..."I know, I will rip it off! That way I could let it grow back within a day or two. At least I would be able to help the others with little agony."

With a rip of feathers and flesh, the wing fell to the ground. "Now to get back to the group." He sprinted back and climbed to the top of the cottage to find most of the group gathered there.
