The suit Priss slammed into, it's head caved in, staggered and thrashed about drunkenly. The cockpit was in the body, meaning that the pilot was mostly unhurt--but the impact had taken out his main sensors, leaving him virtually blind and stunned for the moment.
The other three, after recovering from their initial shock, went after Priss. One opened fire with it's 60 mm Gatling, the second attacked with a pair of medium heatseeking missles, while the third backed away slightly.
Meanwhile, back at AniDimensional HQ...
After guiding Elle back to HQ (see Unit One's board), Shade--a.k.a. Kirby Butler, Senior Troubleshooter and Section Leader, AniDimensional, Inc. Overmind Division--left Elle in the care of the Operator and headed straight for CIC, his mental "conversation" with Paige fresh in his mind. He was only in her mind briefly...and what he saw wasn't good...
"Hey Ness!--I need to link my up with those newbies you sent after Paige--pronto--or she'll be a vegetable by the time she gets back here!! She's physically fine--but she's like one step away from the brink...I'm taking Ramirez and the Seraph Panzer"--his second-in-command and the name he gave his personal craft, a VF-21, respectively--"with me..." Then he sprinted back to the hangar bay, grabbed his right-hand-man and told him to get his own mecca ready, then Hopped int to e cockpit of the Seraph Panzer and prepared to jump...
