 "All right...I think we're breathin', here..." Ness made a few adjustments. "The system they're using's totall different from ours, so I can't get a realtime connection--not yetanyway--so we're gona have a lag broblem, just under a minute or so. OK, here it comes..."

Everyone in the room do t already monitoring one of the other team crowded around the center console, looking up at the big holographic screen as the message played.

"Well, they don't LOOK like the bad guys..." Lucca observed. And it looks like they're in the same boat as we are..." She quickly activated the carea at the cionsole, giving Dr. Faust a picture of herself, Ness, and some of the other Operators crowding around the screen.

"Hello, um....Dr. Faust. This is I'm Lucca, Vice Presidnet, Research & development, AniDimensional, Inc. We picked up your signal, but we didn't get any s"subjects" on this end--and we were wondering oif you seen anything of the eight or so people we were trying to bring back, over."
