Lucca blinked at Dr. Faust's reluctance...then she smiled as it finally dawned on her.

Come to think of it, we're not part of ANY of the timelines...or maybe we're part of ALL of them, I'm not sure which. :-) To greatly oversmplify things, this entire building is a tesseract--an dimension unto itself, with multiple doorways potentially leading anywhere--or anywhen--and on any plane. "What she's saying," interupted Ness, already feeling the yawns coming on, "is that you don't have to worry about "damaging" your own past by your actions here--and that you won't be showing us anything we haven't already seen. Knowing her, she just wants to go poking around Bro'Grim's insides for its own sake."
Lucca looked darkly at Ness for a moment. "Ahem...well, I, um....Anyway, it's all academic, since we haven't found them yet. Wait--did you say you were in contact with them already?"
Meanwhile...
Ramierez walked up to the boy that they found, and extended a hand. So many new people--and his boss, Shade, was still out for the count along with that kid Paige. They needed to regroup--and figure out what the hell was going on.
"Do you live around here? We need a place to get our beariungs--and we;re more than willing to recompense you for your time."
