AniDimensional HQ

"Does that mean they've died or what?" One of Faust's assistants questioned.

"No, all that means is that the transmission ended at that point. Bro'Grim may have been in front of the vessel when it crashed, causing serious damage, there may have been an EM field created by a weapon, from the engine of that ship exploding, or from a portal opening up." Dr. Faust explained. "We just don't have enough information to formulate an explination. There are just too many variables at this time. Even if the events occure like this recording, there's no gurantee that a paradox won't change these events in this present time.

"Ness, what can we do with this information? Are you able to send it to one of your team members?"

The Firefight

The cyborg recognised Tsurshi and decided not to attack him. There were four remaining knights armed with various weapons now and unknown impairment to their suits. Surely they had been damaged by the minigun's awesome firepower as well as the searing beam from the tail laser. The beam saber was starting to flicker from the energy drain. In order to finish this task as fast as possible, the AI cordoned more energy into the main systems. Which had taken power from other systems such as the multi-tracking programming as well as the variable optics. Instead of hundreds of targets, Bro'Grim could now only track around twenty-five to thirty.

One of the hardsuits' vibroblades had slashed the hydrolic systems on the cyborg's right arm, spewing hot fluid all over and ceasing up the arm's rotation. In order for the mecha-dragon to aim the minigun, it would have to move it's massive upper half. There was still around four hundred rounds left in the gun's ammo bay; Four short bursts and some change. As he ran past the last suit in his way, the entire torso twisted a full turn and cut into the Knight with the beam saber. Cutting power to the left arm, the twin engines ignited and sent the cyborg flying into the air towards the thick black smoke cloud which omniously hung over the battlefield.

Below him, the cyborg tracked two groups of energy signatures which were converging on a much smaller group. Ahead was the cruiser and the last Vertol headed straight for them all. The speed that Bro'Grim flew, or rather fell through the air had quickly brought it upon the two airborn vessels. Opening the chest plates again the three energy cannons blasted into the top of the Vertol cutting a gash down middle of the hovercraft's hull. What was left of the AI had calculated that the trajectory of this ship's fall would drop it on a number of the troops below.

From here, the Jumppack's wings, super heated updraft from the inferno below, and gravity were all that controled the rest of the cyborg's flight. The thick black smoke made the engines useless and there wasn't enough energy left to use everything at maximum and still get out of this fight intact.

In the middle of his flight, Bro'Grim sent a short video signal to Priss's hardsuit frequency showing her what he was able to see from his vantage point. Namely, the flanking units attempting to surround the group.
