That's the only thing I don't like about this season so far. The previews for next week looked especially sickening ("theirs was a love destined to be"? AAAARGH!). I'd prefer Angel with Fred, or Spike, or Willow, or even with someone like Lilah rather than with Cordelia. So I would love to see the C/A thing cut off *immediately*. They're okay as friends, but that's it. More brooding Angel, less Dork!Angel. Please. I'd also love to see a "Buffy"/"Angel" crossover, of course. And if they can't manage a big crossover ep, how about phone calls? Why didn't Fred or Gunn get in contact with Buffy when both Angel and Cordelia were missing ALL summer? Buffy still doesn't know about Connor, right? And Angel doesn't know about the Buffy/Spike thing? Buffy and/or Spike could have contacted Angel for advice on helping Spike adjust to having his soul back. But as far as I can remember from what's been shown onscreen, Angel and Buffy haven't spoken to each other since the time they met after he learned she was alive.
