Subject: That's much better. And I too got sick of all the repeat questions over and over again. Which is why I came up with everything that is in Oop's corner on doc.rbcb.net (More inside)

In my honest opinion pool training sucks(There is that better Iampoo?) Pool training is hard to master and until you do you will probably not do to well on it and you will mess up your horses like I have done in the past." on 15:42:26 11/24/03 Mon

But there is a way to master the pool. And if you master the pool, you stats increase well... It's one of the best all around training methods in the game, both for externals and internals.

But as you say, it is tough, and if you screw it up, it messes up your horse.

Here's a trick that works...

During the first half of the Pool, hit the button when the measure bar reachs the "R" in Bar.

Once your horse hits the half way point, the bar starts speeding up. If you time your hits in this pattern, you too will master the pool.

After the middle... move each "Hit" up one letter starting on the "B"

First hit at "B"
Second hit at "P"
Third hit at "O"
Fourth hit at "T"
Fifth hit at "S"

Generally that finishs it out.

Now.. that being said.. there is some variation based on horse type. The faster the bar moves(For Rough horses), move up a letter and a half for each increment.

The Slower horses(those that like pool training, sloppy).... move about 3/4 of a letter for each hit.

Using this method, you won't fail the pool traing, and even three cool trainings in a row get's you a good food.
