I believe that any time someone gets a record, it's very exciting. Those that have many records, and have been racing for a long time may disagree, but that's just my feeeling on it.
I've read comments on this and other websites saying how records aren't the best way to determine if one is a good jockey. I agree with this as well. Though, most that hold nationals, and more established location records, are some of the most elite racers. The best way, in my humble opinion, to determine whether or not you have the skills is by winning tournies. Legit tournies, with elite racers. Hopefully, in this up and coming year,more touries will happen. And then, we will see who can walk the walk.
