i'm slightly bitter about the family reunion that will be taking place sans haley. I really want to come, but instead, I'll be living in the forest. ha. I'm looking forward to the rainbow gathering, i just wish you'd picked a different time.
I realize this is probably a little out there considering the expense of the reunion in new mexico, and that my wedding is only a few months down the road, but would mike and edie and the kids be willing to come to my wedding? I want to see you all...
just something to consider..
I'll be out of touch for the next month, we'll be in the virginia national park; but I just thought I'd throw this out there for consideration. and so you'd feel bad for leaving me out of your fun.

Awww Haley, I was hoping somehow you and Monroe could come too. I actually don't know if I get to come yet either. I have asked but haven't gotten an answer yet from my wonderful employer. You will both be missed a LOT of course! And before you know it we'll all be together in Kansas City to celebrate. Keep in touch as much as possible while you're in the wild. <3

I'm sorry you can't make it to Ruidoso, Haley. It's a wooded area too, with lots of other woodland creatures!
We were planning to go to your wedding in June. Don't know what's happening in September. Gretchen will be back in east Texas then, Jacob will be back in school and since I'm in a new job, I don't think I'll be able to get time off again, and Mike's job is currently being a hassle with his new boss wanting to do rollovers and other nonsensical things. But if there's a way, we'll try to make it.
Mike's pretty excited about seeing as many of you as can come down, so everybody should please try to make it. It will be a break from the heat up in the cool pines, and there are some fun things to do like going to the horse races and art galleries. It's a quaint mountain village with some cool shopping and lots of mountain trails where you can stroll, or hike, or go on a horseback tour or rent a mountain bike. Or just hang out in the condo, play some pool, relax on the deck and catch up.

ah!! you can't come to my wedding! or it sounds like it won't happen. this whole thing is horribly depressing. .. I've got people supporting monroe and I financially, so I am looking at plane tickets to see if I can fly to tulsa on the 23rd or whenever and fly back to west virginia on the whenever we get back (4th?).. I very badly want to be there. I miss everyone so much, not to mention getting to see my family that I haven't seen in forever.
We don't have the money yet but people are telling us every day they plan to send money or they hope to support us soon.. so we'll see what happens. I'll try to let you all know as I find out, if I end up being able to come or not.

it's alright though, i have to force stephanie to leave ponca city occasionally and she always has a blast. what a weirdo, i escape ponca whenever possible, and somehow it always sucks me back. i like to call it the bermuda triangle. my mom knows why! ha! it sucked her and beth back! sucks for you guys.. wait......damnit...

Josh didn't want to go at first until I showed him a picture of the condo. I think he's thinking it looks like a good place to sleep. So he'll come with me, but he probably will not participate much in the family fun, unless it's indoors or we drag him around. Or if Haley can make it, she can make him do stuff with us; he listens to her better than he listens to me sometimes.

Rachel it's not a matter of making Haley go; it's a matter of coming up with the money. Money makes the freaking world go around you know. shit.

Yes, we will go bathing suit shopping. Like, tomorrow! Or later today! woo hoo!

Yeah I never thought I'd come back here, but it's not so bad, if you compare it to hell. haha. No it's not that bad; there are lots of places that are worse. Like Tonkawa. Anyway . . . yay for trips away!

i often call ponca hell, i was actually having a conversation with my ex boyfriend jeff from tulsa on the phone tonight and even he agreed.. it went a little something like this :
jeff: something insulting
me: go to hell
jeff: something insulting
me: go right to hell
jeff: i believe we have gone over this already, you live in the seventh circle of hell..
me: yes i know, and i'm saving you a seat a-hole..

he and i really do have some deep, meaningful, conversations, don't we? mostly what i do with my guy friends (mostly ex's) do is insult eachother mutually.. alot.

this is haley and i when we were inseprable one summer in bartlesville. we even looked alike for about a year, people mistook us for twins and sisters <3 i miss that lil patchity patch..

"lets throw another shrimp on the barbie" ashley and her friend and i grilled last month, thats in her apt complex in tulsa. she's in culinary school, ya know. she makes some really bomb pitas.. mmm.
