The moment Onyx began advancing, Adin drew in a breath ever so slightly more sharp then the others, back straightening as his muscles became more tense then was normal. His fingers subconciously curled upwards to his palms, though not in a threatening manner, as if being readied to be thrown as fists, but more defensively. He withdrew for distance, back first pressing more tightly against the tree had had been leaning on, before he slipped himself to the side to give more space to move away.

His features were still, and he was awfully silent, though somethign this time did appear to change in his eyes, nae, his whole demeanor. Was it, perhaps ...a twinge of fear? Ah, perhaps it was.

Certain only of Adin's subconcious was that such a personality was more then familiar ground, and that he didn't like it.
