Well,
I enjoy trying new things, but I don't know about diong it for the sake of my writing. It seems rather selfish, interesting, but selfish. To go out there and cause a scene in order to see people's reactions, or even your own thoughts on an issue is something I do not feel I have to do. I suppose it comes down to the difference of going out there, putting on a mask and seeing what happens, versus just trying something new. I enjoy my imagination, sure I will not know everything, but my experience as a human should lend itself to whatever experience I wish to encapsulate on the page. So, I experiment to broaden myself, but simply for my writing? hmm...
